This marker type is obtained entirely through the postcode for the event, when the event is added. It should point very close to the event's location, but depends on the accuracy of Google's knowledge of postcodes.
Users can more accurately place markers compared to the postcode version. Each "attempt" at placing the marker accurately is shown as a yellow marker.
Users can vote for the accuracy of user-submitted markers. The most accurate of these will be shown as a brown marker. This marker should point exactly to the event.
Event Map
This map shows the location of all events which we know about plotted to a map.
Please note that events may not be spot on location - unless specified otherwise, locations are plotted by searching for their postcode. You can tell which events are pin-pointed by clicking an individual marker, which will show details of the location.
